Rod storage space is a challenge on many boats, particularly those with narrow walkways. Boat Outfitters has developed a folding version of their popular Load-N-Lock Rod Holder that helps to solve this problem. These fishing rod holders have a new spring-loaded feature that allows them to be locked in either the folded or open position, offering on-demand rod storage when needed. When folded closed it protrudes only 1.75” from the mounting surface, giving better clearance between the center console and gunnel sidewalls. They can also be used in other tight spaces, such as in rod boxes, or for storing rods inside the cabin.
