What are the mounting hole dimensions? I’m looking to replace original ladder and don’t want to drill new holes if possible.
Elias T on Dec 22, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Hi Elias, Unfortunately, we do not have a mounting template for these ladders as there is wiggle room in their mounting. The actual step measures 20" wide x 16" deep x 11" tall. If you have any other questions or concerns, please give us a call at 866-633-7961.

Can the stainless steel parts be powder coated?
John G on Jul 8, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Hi John, We would not able to powder coat the telescoping ladder and it is not recommended to paint stainless steel. The paint eventually tends to peel off.

What is the gap between the playform and transom? The transom tie downs will need to go between the platform and transom.
Jim S on May 14, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Hello Jim, these platforms actually mount right against the transom, if it would need to be held off for some reason to work on your boat I would suggest giving us a call and talking through your project with one of our sales associates.
I have an 18’ fish and ski type boat with a 150hp outboard motor.
When measuring the transom for proper dimensions and choice of swim platform, the transom measurements of my boat are too small for your outboard swim platform measurement requirements, but will fit within your requirements for the inboard outboard style.
All of this being said, can I purchase a swim platform for an inboard outboard application and install it on my boat with an outboard motor? From the pictures, it appears the difference between your two options is the inboard outboard style has two rails where as the outboard has only one.
I would like to purchase and install the 3 ladder swim platform, if possible.
Dave C on May 8, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Hello David, the difference between the 2 is the support style as you had noted. The inboard swim platform is supported using the 2 outside arms on the platform, in outboard platform has an additional support under the platform to stabilize that side but still allow for the motor to turn. That being said I would not recommend using the inboard platform without one of the arms. I would recommend giving us a call and seeing if one of our sales associates would be able to find a solution for you
Will this fit Boston Whaler Dauntless 16’?

If you run into any issues please feel free to give us a call and one of our customer service reps would be happy to see what options we have available for you.

How do I measure transom angle to know which swim platform to buy?
Tom T on Feb 27, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Great Question Tom,

One way to find the angle of your transom is to check with the manufacturer of your vessel. They would be the best resource for finding the angle of your transom. and of course, you could use a search engine too by typing how to find the angle of your transom. Here is the link to some common search engines results in finding the angle. https://www.google.com/search?q=how+to+find+the+angle+of+a+boat+transom&rlz=1C1LENP_enUS785US785&oq=how+to+find+the+angle+of+a+boat+transom&aqs=chrome..69i57.19246j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8.

Our platforms are designed to accommodate transoms with angles up to 15 degrees.

I hope this helps.

Thanks.
What is your bolt spacing for the 3 step swim platform, I have a damaged one step that i need to replace but prefer not to drill new holes?
A shopper on Jan 13, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The distance horizontally from center to center of the mounting holes on the three step ladder is 10". The distance from center to center of the mounting holes on the same bracket is 1 1/2". The distance overall length of the bracket is 7" and the portion that will on top of your platform is 5 7/8" overall. The measurement for the portion of the bracket that will mount to the top of the platform is 3 7/8".
Are there cover pads for the ladder brackets?
Duane T on Nov 1, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Due to the nature of how the ladder stores, bracket cover pads cannot be added.
