Helped me pick the right color
I replaced all of the teak down at floor level with starboard and it looks great and will not have to be replace again. Easy to work with and a great replacement for teak that does't always look good.

Sample Chain !
I am glad I ordered this sample chain as the boat I am working on, 1975 SRV 190, due to the age, the bow has changed color over the years and I needed to make a new hatch cover for the closed bow. After receiving the samples, I realized the color is not very close to what I thought it was going to be. So, stitch in time.... For a temporary fix, until I order the correct size to make the hatch, I have used the sample to match the paint color to paint the marine wood that came with the boat (ugly but, better than a whole in the closed bow. Thank you and look forward to the next purchase.

Great idea!
The sampler chain was a perfect aide to choosing the right color. With the subtle differences, it would have been impossible to choose from an image on a computer. My suggestion: if you purchase the color chain and subsequently purchase a king starboard product, boat outfitters could apply the $10 towards the price of your order!

I like the sample just fine. It will allow me to make a good decision on what to order. I do think it would be a great practice on your part to deduct the price of the sample (one time) when a Starboard order is made.
