How long can I let MP-10 dry before I put Tuff coat on. Day's??
Jeff H on Jul 11, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Hello Jeff,

This is a great question. Here is the manufacturers response to that question. "MP-10 Primer is topcoat ready in 1-4 hours minimum at 72°F (22°C) at 50% Relative Humidity; 48 hours maximum at 72°F (22°C) at 50% Relative Humidity. To cure do not exceed 48 hours." Thank you!
Do I need this on already painted aluminum boat before I put the tiff coat on ?
A shopper on Apr 3, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Great Question,

This product is designed to be applied to bare metal. It is used as a priming coat to be applied before tuff coat is applied to the surface. For your project, We would recommend making sure the surface of the material is thoroughly cleaned and scuffed before applying the primer.

Thanks.
Does this product reduce the temperature of the deck in direct sun? Can you confirm this product is appropriate for use on aluminum boats?
A shopper on Feb 11, 2018
BEST ANSWER: This product works quite well on aluminum boats, but as with any paint in direct sunlight, the lighter colors will hold less heat. Many times we see Light Gray chosen for aluminum applications for this reason. Thank you!
