What is the outside diameter and overall length of tube?

BEST ANSWER: Hi Julio, these rod holders are not supplied with a backing plate. Machine screws with lock-nuts and washers do a very good job for these installations. Thank you!
If the liner is removed, what would be the ID diameter ?

You state that the head is 4 inches wide in one direction and 3 inches in the other. Are you saying that the mountingnface is Ann over shape?? Thanks

The head of this rod holder is cast stainless steel. The diameter of the head is 4.25" at its widest and 3.35 at its narrowest.

I am curious who the manufacturer of the rod holder i?. I need to add a couple more on the boat and it looks very simliar to mine. Just wanted to see if it is the same make.

Does the Top Mount Rod Holder 0 Degree need a gasket (rubber or foam) for installation to fiberglass area of the boat?

BEST ANSWER: That is a good question, the rod holders shown on the site do not include a mounting gasket, we typically recommend using marine sealant around the base during installation.
