Which of the tuff coat is more ideal for boats? The medium or the coarse texture?
Will32 on Feb 24, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Hello Will, great question, the best Tuff Coat to use would primarily depend on what you are using the boat for. If it is a work boat then the Medium or Coarse would be the best option because they provide the best grip but would not be the most comfortable if needing to kneel. The Smooth on the other hand would be ideal for cruising or fishing because it adds a good grip and is more comfortable to kneel on. We have seen fisherman and cruisers use either Smooth or Medium for their applications. Thank You!
How well does it hold up in the north east winters.?

could I apply this to a deck that has already been painted with outdoor paint?
Nancy T on Apr 27, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Hi Nancy, you certainly can, but if the outdoor paint on the deck starts to peel/bubble then the tuff coat will come up with it. If you are confident that the outdoor paint will last a long time, then you can paint the tuff coat primer and paint right over it. Thank you!
Curtis P on Apr 19, 2019
