SKU
As low as: $39.99

Description

This versatile fueling aid simplifies and expedites the refueling process for boats, RVs, and heavy equipment. The CLiX helps to eliminate spillage, protects against static discharges and makes putting additives in easier.

  • Takes the stress and mess out of fueling up by keeping the fuel in the tank and allowing fuel nozzles to shut off
  • Hands-free filling, simply insert the Clix followed by the fuel nozzle for the nozzle to hold in place and shut off once fuel reaches the top, as engineers intended
  • Simple one-piece, one size fits all design means one person operation to fill the tanks
  • Made of biodegradable TPE with a custom additive combination to reduce the risk of sparking when fueling
  • Easy storage, packaging doubles as a storage box
  • Works on most boats with fill port openings 1.5" - 2" in diameter
  • Available for Gasoline and Diesel tanks

Instructions

  • When fueling make sure the CLiX is securely inserted into the boat’s filler tube. There is no need to use a lot of pressure to install the CLiX, it simply needs to be pressed into the filler tube till it stops moving and feels secure. The small diameter of the CLiX goes into the boat first, note the arrow on the CLiX unit. Red CLiX for Gasoline and Green for Diesel.
  • Insert the gas nozzle and make sure that it is placed as deeply into the CLiX as you can for a correct fit. NOTE: there are some fuel docks which may use a gas size nozzle for Diesel fuel, do NOT use the Diesel version of the CLiX for fueling there as it will not function correctly
  • Begin fueling
  • If you wish to use the nozzle’s ability to self-shut off, feel free to do so! Just remember to not leave the nozzle unattended while fueling is occurring. The nozzle, on most boats, will shut off on its own. Please note that on some older boats the vent may be at a lower point than the fill tube and keep the CLiX from working properly. Also, damaged or jammed open vents can also cause the CLiX to not function properly
  • There is no need to be concerned about having the nozzle in contact with the filler tube as the CLiX is made to eliminate any static charge
  • Once the nozzle CLiX off, wait for a few seconds to give the fuel a chance to settle before removing the nozzle and the CLiX unit
  • Store the CLiX someplace where any residual gas can evaporate on its own
  • NOTE: You must still follow any rules, regulations or ordinances of the area in which you are fueling up. Using the CLiX doesn’t exempt you from them
  • WARNING: Boats with damaged vent filters, a modified fuel filler neck, or older than 25 years old may not work with the CLiX
