what material are these keepers made from? If I wanted to use glue only (not screws) for the top of my boat dash, what glue would be best to use?
BEST ANSWER: Great question! These strips are made from King Starboard. Gluing of Starboard is not recommended as it does not form a tight bind with the material. We would rather recommend mechanically fastening to the area.

This is a keeper rail for the helm/dash of my cc. Do you recommend 1/2" or 1" tall?
BEST ANSWER: Hello, the height would really depend on the size and layout of the console in regards to how it would look. If the strip is going to be 18" or longer I would probably go with the 1" height but once again it is really personal preference and what you think would look best for your application.
