Keeper strips for top of tackle station
Installed the custom keeper strips on top of a new tackle station (also from Boat Outfitters) to allow me to keep de-hookers and other small fishing tools out, but off of the deck. The installation was completed with nothing but a drill and screw driver, and the fit was just right for the top of the station.

No more stuff flying off helm
My boat had a 1/2" hump to keep things on top, which completely did nothing. Adding a keeper strip solved the problem completely

Excellent product for this job.
Great product. Predrilled, corners rounded off. Made for a very clean installation. Combined this with a piece of sea deck to restore my center console top which had multiple holes from previous electronics. Perfect for this application.

Excellent product
I ordered two strips to fasten to the aft edge of the raised bow platform of my center console to keep our beach chairs from sliding off the platform. Maybe not the intended purpose of these strips, but they work great. The gray color of the strips perfectly matches the gray interior of the boat. The strips were beveled on the ends and had just the right amount of pre-drilled holes for the mounting screws. I received the strips less than one week after custom ordering! One of the most functional additions to my boat!

Custom keeper strips
These custom keeper strips are the best. You just supply your measurements, add youe seadek and all is well. It will keep your thing from rolling away while accelerating or decelerating, and also during turns.

The dash on my 21 foot Proline is curved, not straight... do you make a kit that will fit the curv.???
Moose on May 28, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Great question Michael,
Generally they are not cut at a "curve". Starboard can be slightly bent to an extent, it will really depend on the radius you are trying to bend it too. This is also something can be done custom made.
what material are these keepers made from? If I wanted to use glue only (not screws) for the top of my boat dash, what glue would be best to use?
Joseph P on Apr 8, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Great question! These strips are made from King Starboard. Gluing of Starboard is not recommended as it does not form a tight bond with the material. We would recommend mechanically fastening to the area.
This is a keeper rail for the helm/dash of my cc. Do you recommend 1/2" or 1" tall?
A shopper on Nov 5, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hello, the height would really depend on the size and layout of the console in regards to how it would look. If the strip is going to be 18" or longer I would probably go with the 1" height but once again it is really personal preference and what you think would look best for your application.

I wish I had a better answer for you on that but please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you.
