Will these work on a 1999 stripper with three transom storage boxes?

my sailboat pedestal houses the throttle cable. the bracket or cable retainer that holds the cable in place is missing. what can i use to hold it in place. without a retainer the cable slides around inside the pedestal and the steering is sloppy. can you suggest something?
