Are the measurements for the cutout or overall size?

What size is the rough opening?

BEST ANSWER: Hi Dan, the rough opening for all of these hatches is 1.75" less in length and width (7/8" overlap all the way around the frame). Thank you!
Is the latch on this hatch water tight? I'm thinking about using this as a step storage lid and it'll be oriented with this hatch as the top.

BEST ANSWER: Hi Buddy, The only removable bins that we have is for the smaller size hatches which are the 13x17 and the 11x15. We don't have anything in stock for the 13x23 platform.
is it possible to only purchase the latch for these doors? the tab on the latch on mine is broken

Hello, I have a 2006 Sea Hunt Triton 172. I'm looking for a new hatch cover to go over the rear compartment that accesses the battery and bilge. Previous owner said it flew off in transit from the ramp. I can't get accurate measurements and tried to contact Sea Hunt. Was wondering if the sizes of this cover will fit? Any help would be great. Thank you.

BEST ANSWER: Hello Tim, these doors are actually not pieces that we build in house. The colors listed on other items reference the color of Starboard they are built out of but these items are roto molded pieces. I would say they are closer to Arctic White but they are not an exact match for any of teh listed Starboard colors.
What size screw? Looks like a 3/16 hole in there

I just measured to hole size and it measures 0.18, which a #8 screw would work perfectly in.

looking for small hatch looking door that is surface mount that is blank while lid is opened ( in other words one that I cut the inside the lid opening size myself) purpose is to hide/protect a flush female recepticle that is used for battery charging so the main console door can remain closed to keep birds, squirrels and wasps out of console while charging batteries. Do have anything like this? or have any ideas?

BEST ANSWER: Great question! Within reason, these hatches can withstand a load. Specifically, if they are being used as deck hatches, they can be stood on. We hope this helps.

hello what are the interior dimensions? I am trying to replace a set of 2 hatches over where I store my batteries on a flats boat under where you would sit. The current hatches are 15 x10 3/4 on the outside while inside it is 12 1/8 x 8 1/8. looking for something close to that so I can still fit my batteries without having to remove hatch if I needed to. Thank you

BEST ANSWER: Hello Chris, it looks like the 11x15 Innovative door should work for you there (part number 256-0001), the outside dimensions are 11 x 15 and fits a hole cut out 9.25 x 13.25 the pass though dimension on that opening should be just slightly less than the cut out so you should actually gain a little room while having the same overall outside dimensions.
