how well do the suction cups hold? Can this be easily screwed on?

BEST ANSWER: This is a great question. The suction cups on the bottom of the drink holder are strong depending on the surface they are being attached to. It is advised to clean the surface and suction cup before applying it to the surface to maximize the effectiveness. Another nice part about this holder is that if the surface does not work well with the suction cup you can mount the holder into place. This holder is made out of starboard which can be used with any wood working tools and should be easy to mount. If you have any other questions about the product, please let us know!

How tall is it without the suction cups?

BEST ANSWER: Hi Ken, the height measurement provided of 3" does not include the suction cups. The suction cups add less than 1/2" to the height. Thank you!
What is the diameter of the cup holders? Based on a previous answer the depth of the cup holder is 2.5 inches if the Starboard is 1/2". Is this correct?

BEST ANSWER: Hello Daniel, the diameter of the cup holder is 3.5". For the depth this is correct. It is 3", tall not including the suction cups, and the bottom is 1/2" thick material. Thank you!

BEST ANSWER: Great question. Yes, you can remove the suction cups and use the same mounting holes to screw the part down to the vessel.
