Fillet Table Upgrades
Andrew 00:07
So, when someone's in the market for a fillet table, and they're looking for different ways or
what to kind of some of the other options you give them to kind of upgrade what they've
got.
Matt 00:17
Oh, yeah, I mean, there's a lot of different things that you can do. I mean, directly off the
website. One of the nice things we've added recently is the lower shelf that kind of
spans in between the legs underneath the table, typically that's a more shady spot. You can put a
bucket you know like I said a bucket but more like a bowl with some ice in it, you can toss your
fillets and it keeps the fillets out of the sun. Put your bags, additional fillet knives, or whatever.
You may have a knife for cutting a knife or skin and it gets out of the way. One of the other
things we have on there's the upper shelf; the upper shelf kind of serves the same purpose.
Doesn't mount with any fasteners just slides right on and super simple. Really pretty inexpensive
for the space you gain on it.
Luke 01:03
Take your clean fish up there or down below. Keeps your table free you know always use a
little extra space when you're flying fish last thing you want to do is be on crowded in there and
knocking things over so…
Matt 01:14
But the standard tables they come with some good things on them already.
Andrew 01:17
Yeah, so I mean the standard tables do come with the same amount of little accessories right
and what does it have as a folder on it has a knife sharpener integrated into it as a drink holder?
The one that’s the holes holder, you’d want allowance on the dock has a little hole that can be
used for you know like a foldable umbrella if you wanted to use it for anything else.
Matt 01:40
It is important. And that knife holder folders really nice because it fully conceals the blade
Andrew 01:45
And that was a big deal. We spent a lot of time on the Engineering of that to make sure that
you know it wasn't you didn't have an exposed blade. You're hanging down in color reach up
and grab or something like that.
Matt 01:55
Right and there's no blade sticking down through the table that someone could either run
their hand into or it could run into something like that.
Andrew 02:02
Some of the bigger upgrades are things like your integrated drawers. You know we've got a
model that has two deep integrated drawers for storing, you know, maybe black bags or
Matt 02:14
Everything rack towels. You can even put your cleaning supplies in there because most
typically wouldn't be right next to it. That's nice to have right there at the dock.
Luke 02:23
In addition to like boat cleaning too, I mean a lot of guys are using these like a rigging
station, your racks, your reels, everything's ready to go. You know the night before. Keep your
terminal tackle hooks weights in line leader in a drawer there get everything rigged up and ready to go
right on the boat, you're fishing, you know,
Andrew 02:40
Totally the last thing I can think of is do an integrated sink. The sinks are nice.
Matt 02:45
It's nice to be able to have a place like that instead of having to have that lower shelf where you
put the bowl or something with ice and that sink serves a really good purpose there for that. It also
helps a lot with drainage. It's a really convenient addition. And when we do the fillet tables with
sinks, we also do have a lid with a little finger bowl that sits right over it so you don't lose the
functionality for cutting graphics.
Andrew 03:07
Yeah, that's a big deal. Awesome.
