If you’re mainly going to be fishing tackle boxes and tool holders are a good add. If you’re more of a pleasure cruiser then you’ll probably enjoy glove boxes, storage bags, drawer units, and even wine cabinets to hold all your necessities.

You can add storage to your boat in many different ways, either permanently or temporarily. Identify areas where you have space to add storage and take the dimensions. Depending on how much space you have available you can add tilt-out storage, glove boxes or even drawers. If you want a quick storage fix that isn’t permanent you can even add tool holders that mount with suction cups and can easily be removed when not needed. ​

Storage on most boats is limited, even more so when you have a small boat. Tool holders are a great way to mount pliers, knives, leader spools and other accessories within hands reach. Depending on how much space you have, a small catch-all or glove box is another good way to increase your storage capabilities. Another option is a tilt-out storage unit which is a great add when you are working with limited depth. ​
